Tips & Tricks[]
- Due to the parts being coated along with the runner (and combined with a lack of undergates), cutting the pieces off from the sprues may leave some marks, even if some care is taken.
- Likewise, some parts' latches/notches can be in a tight fit while assembling, so some scraping is needed.
- If one wishes to panel-line the coated parts, use the water-based Gundam Marker GM20 black instead. (If one uses the oil-based Gundam Marker Panel Lining pen instead, caution is needed)
- Care must be taken while transforming the antenna parts (C18 and C19); slightly excessive force and/or mishandling can potentially break the parts.
- The Beam Gatling Gun[x2] set add-on included from the 4th Volume of Gundam Unicorn can be used for this kit.
Variants[]
- Later reissues of the Gunpla from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo.
Notes & Trivia[]
- This Gunpla is the first regular release chromed plated Master Grade since the MG Hyaku-Shiki.
- As the original mold is not designed to have undergated armor parts (as it was released before the existence of both the Mobile Suit Gundam UC: Phoenix Hunting novel and its Gundam-type unit), the chromed parts suffers from cut marks when trimmed out from the runner.
- The story on the manual made no reference to Rita Bernal, the Mobile Suit's "Pilot".
