Kit Features & Gimmicks[]
Articulation[]
- The head can swivel/tilt via a double ball-joint neck.
- Shoulder joints can be pulled out for extra front-and-upwards articulation.
- The arms can...
- Swing on a peg joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper arms can rotate.
- Both the elbows and knees are double-jointed.
- The manipulators...
- Can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Feature 3+1+1 articulation on each finger.
- The waist can rotate 360 degrees, though it can be hindered by a few panels.
- The hip joint axis can swing forwards (for extra articulation) and backward.
- The upper thighs can swing frontwards/backwards on a peg-and-socket joint, raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
- Front, side, and rear skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference.
- The ankles can slightly pivot and/or tilt.
- The 2-piece front feet can pivot.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]
- Any of the weapons can be wielded by the articulated hands.
- The hands feature molded tabs for increased gripping stability.
- Cockpit Hatch can be opened to reveal inner pilot figurine.
- Beam Saber hilt can be optionally removed from the backpack as a handheld weapon.
- Beam Rifle foregrip can swing left or right.
- Shield grip can optionally flip out for the left hand to wield.
- GM II can mount onto Action Bases 1 or 4 (sold separately) via an adapter.
Tips & Tricks[]
- For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied & panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish topcoat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying topcoat while the said parts are separated.
- The middle, ring, pinky fingers can be sliced off for individual articulation. (NOTE: May possibly decrease gripping stability.)

- High Detail Manipulators 173 and 174 can be used for this kit. (Repaint on the dorsals are required)
Notes & Trivia[]
- This Gunpla is the first MG iteration of the GM II unit, barring the B-Club produced conversion kit.
