The Master Grade (MG) RGM-79Q GM Quel is a 1/100 scale kit released in 1999.

- Can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Feature 3+1+1 fingers on the poseable hands.
The waist can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint in an extent.
The upper thighs can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Front, side, and rear skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference.
The ankles can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint in an extent.

Cockpit hatch can be opened to reveal pilot figurine.
The hands are swappable.
Any of the weapons can be wielded by the poseable hands.
Beam Saber hilt can be optionally removed from the backpack as a handheld weapon.
The shield can be wielded by either of the forearms, though the default position is on the left.

For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied and panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color Paints.
Top coat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the translucent and the softer parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.

Reissues from late September 2018 onward will feature a blue Bandai Spirits logo.
