Tips & Tricks[]

  • For better results, most/some of the details are needed to applied/panel lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
  • Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, painted details and marking decals.
    • If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
  • The MG Enhanced Expansion Parts for ZZ Gundam (Ver. Ka) can be used to remodel this Gunpla into a Katoki Hajime-designed Enhanced ZZ Gundam.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • This Gunpla is released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
  • Prior to its confirmed development, a census was made by Gundam.info on September 26 till October 2, 2016, where the fans determine on which Mobile Suit will be recreated as the next Master Grade Ver. Ka kit after the release of the the MG Nu Gundam HWS (Ver. Ka), with ZZ Gundam winning 1st place with 38.2% of the votes, with Zeta Gundam coming second with 12.1% of the votes.
    • If the Gunpla's development is connected with the census's final result, then it makes it one of the first to be produced after winning the census, followed by the Figure-rise Standard Diver Ayame.
