The Master Grade (MG) MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki (Ver. 2.0) is a 1/100 scale kit released in 2015.

Kit Features & Gimmicks[]

Articulation[]

  • The head can swivel/pivot via a ball-and-c-clip joint.
  • Torso can tilt back and forth.
  • Shoulder joints can be pulled out, and it can be lifted upwards or swing frontwards.
  • The arms can...
    • Swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
    • Raise horizontally.
      • The shoulder armors can swing up to avoid interference with the arm articulation.
  • The upper arms can rotate.
  • The elbows and knees are double-jointed.
  • The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
    • The fingers feature 3+1+1 articulation.
  • The waist can rotate 360 degrees, though it can be hindered by a few skirt armor panels.
    • The waist joint also allows the torso to tilt left or right.
  • Front and side skirt armors are poseable to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
  • The hip joint axis can be moved downward to expand the legs' movement range.
  • The upper thighs can swing frontwards (and backwards in a limited manner due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor) on a peg, raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
  • The ankle joints can tilt sideways/pivot on a cylinder joint.
  • Front foot pieces can tilt forward.
  • The Binders on the backpack are poseable.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]

  • Any of the weapons can be wielded by the hands.
    • Each palm features a flip-out peg for the weapon's tab holes.
  • All of the weapons feature a flip-out peg for gripping stability.
  • Clay Bazooka's ammo can be optionally detached from the weapon.
  • Clay Bazooka and/or Beam Rifle can latch onto (either side) of the backpack.
  • Beam Saber hilts can be optionally detached from the rear waist as handheld weapons.
  • Hyaku Shiki can attach with the 1/100 scale Ballute System accessory. (Sold separately)
  • Hyaku Shiki can mount onto Action Bases 1 or 4 with an adapter.

Tips & Tricks[]

  • Although all of the undergated parts are coated along with the runner, cutting the pieces off from the sprues may leave some marks if not done carefully.
    • Likewise, some parts' tabs/notches can be in a tight fit while assembling, so some scraping is needed.
    • If one prefers to panel-line the coated parts, use the Water-based panel-lining marking.

Customizing-based tips[]

  • The MG FHA-03M1 Mega Bazooka Launcher can be used on this Gunpla.

  • This Gunpla...
    • Is released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Zeta Gundam.
    • Also utilizes the weapon runners from the RE/100 MSK-008 Dijeh.
  • This kit also contains at least quadruple Quattro figurines, as they're molded on the two same runners (E).
  • To date, this Gunpla has yet to be remolded/recolored into Byaku Shiki from Gunpla Builders Beginning G, Mega-Shiki from Gundam Build Fighters Try, and the Lunagazer Gundam from Gundam Build Fighters AR.
