The head can swivel/tilt on a double ball-joint neck.
The torso can tilt forward or sideways in a limited manner.
Shoulder joints can tilt upwards or swing forwards.
The lower parts of the shoulder armor are poseable to avoid interference with the frontwards arm articulation.
The arms can...
- Swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
The upper arms can rotate.
The elbows and knees are double-jointed.
The Manipulators...
- Can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint, or slightly pivot on a hinge joint.
- Feature 3+1+1 articulation for each finger.
The wrists can pivot up or down.
The waist can rotate.
The upper thigh joints can swing frontwards/backwards on a peg, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each thigh.
- The side armors can be disconnected from the built-in frame if one prefers the kit to have a wider leg articulation.
Ankle joints can pivot and/or tilt sideways in a limited manner.
Front foot pieces can pivot.

Any of the weapons can be wielded by the poseable hands.
- Each palm features molded tabs for stable gripping.
Cockpit hatch can be optionally opened to reveal pilot figurine.
Tactical Arms II can:
- Convert into Sword form, Gatling form, & backpack.
- Separate and form into Sword Arms.
The built-in Armor Schneiders on the feet can slide out.
Hand-held Armor Schneiders can be mounted onto the thigh's holder.
Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise can mount onto the Action Base (1 or 4 recommended) via an adapter.

For better results, some or most of the details are needed to applied/panel lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
The middle, ring, pinky fingers can be sliced off for individual articulation.

The head and beam saber backpack parts from the MG Gundam Astray Red Frame kit can be used to swap the Blue Frame's head and Tactical arms to form an MG iteration of the Blue Frame Second G. (repaint on the Red Frame's parts is required.)

Initial releases of the kit comes with a limited edition "Striker Adapter Parts" add-on.
Later reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue Bandai Spirits logo.
