Tips & Tricks[]
- For better results, some/most of the details are needed to be applied and panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color Paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and marking decals and if any, painted details.
- While this kit doesn't come with beam blades, the beam saber hilts on the back of the Mk.II are compatible with standard beam blades (e.g. SB-6) from other kits.
Variants[]
- Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
Notes & Trivia[]
- A few parts have been modified from the original mold for this kit:
- The feet have been modified to fit better with the Flying Armor platforms. The range of movement is also improved as a result.
- The beam saber holders on the backpack features a mesh pipe construction.
- The Flying Armor can also be used on the Revive version of the HGUC Gundam Mk-II kit. Despite lacking the pivoting front feet, the kit has no problems mounting onto the support unit.
