Kit Features & Gimmicks[]
Articulation[]
- The head can swivel/pivot on a ball-and-hinge neck joint.
- Torso can tilt back and forth in a limited manner, or sideways.
- Shoulder joints can swing frontwards or backwards (in a limited manner), or upwards.
- The shoulder armor's panel can flip up to avoid interference with the arm articulation.
- The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper arms can rotate.
- The arms feature double-jointed elbow parts.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The forearms can move inward.
- The hip joint axis can swing back and forth on one side.
- The upper thigh joints can swing frontwards (and backwards in a limited extent) on a peg, raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
- The knee joints can only be bent up to 90 degrees.
- Each of the toes can fold down.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]
- The hands are swappable.
- The Beam Sabers can be wielded by the default hands.
- Beam Rifle can attach onto the right forearm.
- The weapon can be attached with either normal or extended stock cable pieces.
- Vulcan pod can attach onto/remove from Barzam's head unit.
- Barzam's backpack can be replaced with HGUC Gundam Mk-II (Revive Ver.)'s backpack.
- Barzam can mount onto any Action Bases. (sold separately)
Tips & Tricks[]
- For better results, some or most of the details are needed to applied/panel lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, painted details and marking decals.
Variants[]
Italicized item/s are exclusives.
- Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Before the kit's actual release, The HGUC iteration of the Barzam appears as a fictional kit in the 2013 Anime series Gundam Build Fighters.
- Likewise, the actual Gunpla release's packaging homages the box art seen in the TV series.
- Not counting Tanaka Toji and Yagyu Keita's resin kit iteration of the Mobile Suit, this Gunpla is the very first HGUC iteration of the Barzam unit.
- Second HGUC kit to feature almost-to-no polycaps since HGUC Gundam GP02A "Physalis", though the kit only uses 6 polycaps compared to GP02's 14.
