- Swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper arms can rotate.
- The elbows are double-jointed.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can turn 360 degrees, though it can be slightly hindered by the skirt armor panels.
- Front and side skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The upper thighs can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint. (The backwards articulation is limited due to the single-piece rear skirt armor)
- Knee joints can be bent up to 110 degrees.
- The ankle can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint, though in an extent.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]
- The right hand is swappable.
- Each of the weapons must be wielded by their own respective hand parts.
- Beam Saber can be optionally removed from the backpack as a handheld weapon.
- Knee parts feature an inner frame with non-functional hydraulic parts.
- Bazooka handle can pivot.
- The shield can attach onto...
- Any forearms via an adapter, though the default position is on the left.
- One of the two pegs on the adapter.
- Powered GM can mount onto HGUC Gabthley's display stand (Sold separately), or onto the Action Base (sold separately). (Tab-type adapter must be mounted onto the AB first)
Tips & Tricks[]
- For better results, some details are needed to be applied with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
Customizing-based tips[]
- One must find an extra normal left hand for this Gunpla, mostly from Builders Parts' System Weapon kits. (Both the hand & dorsals are needed to be painted in the same color as the kit's.)
- However, given the manipulators' size, it's impossible to be scaled with the included kit's hands unless you're replacing Powered GM's normal hand with the ones included from the add-on.
- Depending on the individual copy, the upper left section of the shield's white piece may possess a least noticeable small burr. Trimming it off is recommended.
[]
- High Detail Manipulator 135 can be used for this kit.
- 1/144 c.o.v.e.r.-kit 5 for HGUC Powered GM can be used to upgrade this Gunpla.
Variants[]
- Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
