Articulation[]

  • Due to its construction, the arms can...
    • Raise upwards on a shoulder joint socket.
    • Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
    • Raise horizontally on the shoulder armors.
  • The upper arms can rotate.
  • The elbow and knees are double-jointed.
  • The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
  • The waist can rotate 360 degrees.
  • Front and side skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
  • The hip joint axis is a see-saw-type joint.
  • The upper thighs can swing frontward (and backward in a very limited extent due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor), raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
  • Ankle joints can slightly tilt/pivot.
  • The V.S.B.R.s are attached on a joint arm, allowing some articulation.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]

  • The heads can interchange between two modes.
  • The hands are swappable.
  • Each of the weapons must be wielded by their own respective hand parts.
  • The heat radiation fins can be swapped.
  • The radiation panels on the rear lower legs can be flipped out.
  • The V.S.B.Rs can wedge out, slide frontwards and flip down the handles to create firing mode.
  • Beam Rifle foregrip can swing left or right.
  • Beam Bazooka's handle can pivot front or back.
  • Beam Bazooka can be mounted onto the rear waist.
  • Beam Shield + Generator can be mounted onto the left forearm via parts swapping.
  • Gundam F91 can mount onto any Action Bases (sold separately).

Tips & Tricks[]

  • For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be painted and panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color Paints.
  • Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
    • If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
  • If one chooses, the kit can be painted into a color scheme based on its appearance in Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7.

Customizing-based tips[]

  • Front skirt's joint can be optionally separated.

Variants[]

Italicized items are exclusives.

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Despite being marked as 1/144, the kit is actually 1/132 scale due to its size. (probably to decrease the kit's fragility.)
