Kit Features & Gimmicks[]

Articulation[]

The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.
- Shoulder joints can swing frontwards.
The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
The upper elbows can turn.
The elbow and knees are double-jointed.
The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
The waist can turn 360 degrees, though it can be hindered by a few panels.
Front, side, and rear skirt armors are poseable to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
The hip joint axis can tilt frontwards or backwards on one side.
The upper thigh joints can:
swing frontward on a peg-and-socket joint (though the backwards articulation is limited due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor).
- raise horizontally.
- rotate on each piece.
- Front, side, and rear skirt armors are poseable to avoid interference.
The knees are double-jointed.
The ankles can pivot/tilt sideways, though slightly.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]

The hands are swappable.
Each of the weapon must be wielded by their own respective hands.
Core Lander can be docked with or detach from the Shining Gundam.
Beam Swords can be optionally detached from the side waist armors as handheld weapons.
Shining Gundam can convert into Super Mode via parts swapping/rearrangement.
Giant Hand effect part can optionally attach onto the right Shining Finger hand part.
Shining Gundam can mount onto any Action Bases. (sold separately)

Tips & Tricks[]

For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.

Customizing-based tips[]

For extra show/design accuracy on the Shining Shot, leg Booster & Shoulder parts, one must buy two of the kits to recreate two different parts (one unpainted gray, one painted gold) for the kit.

Variants[]

Italicized items are exclusives.

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
