Kit Features & Gimmicks[]
Articulation[]
- The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-jointed neck.
- The torso can slightly tilt backwards/frontwards.
- The shoulder joints can raise upwards and/or slightly swing frontwards/backwards.
- The arms can...
- Swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally. (The two panel fins on the shoulder armor can pivot to provide clearance.)
- The upper arms can rotate.
- Both the elbow and knees are double-jointed.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can rotate 360 degrees.
- Front, side, and rear skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The hip joint axis can swing frontward/backward on one side.
- The upper thighs can swing frontward/backwards, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each piece.
- The ankles can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint. (The feet must convert into grounding mode first.)
Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]
- The left hand is swappable.
- Any of the weapons can be wielded by the default hand parts.
- The forearm panels can be removed (rotate if one chooses) to reveal Beam Saber hilts, and each piece can be taken off from the panels as handheld weapons.
- Though undocumented, the Beam Saber effect can directly install onto the panels to form In-Shield Beam Sabers.
- Gundam AGE-3 Orbital can separate and convert into Core Fighter and/or G-Viper via minor parts rearrangement.
- An alternate torso/cockpit piece can be used to swap with the MS Mode's part.
- SigMaxiss Long Cannon can convert into storage mode for the G-Viper, or mount onto AGE-3 Orbital's rear skirt armor.
- The panel underneath the hip joint can be removed to reveal a port for the included display stand (or any Action Bases), where the Gundam AGE-3 Orbital (or its Core Fighter and/or G-Viper components) can mount onto.
- The display stand's arms must be adjusted by removing and reattaching.
- The extra hand parts can store underneath the display stand.
Tips & Tricks[]
- For better results, some/most of the details are needed to applied/panel lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
Variants[]
- Reissues of the kit from 2019 onwards will bear the blue Bandai Spirits logo.
